Health tourism sales pitch will be fascinating

I wonder how many of your readers allowed themselves a wry smile at the report carried in your issue (February 4) under the headline ‘London trip to bring in medical tourism’.
The article explained that members of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and the Health Service Promotion Board were flying to London to promote medical tourism to the island. The list of participating clinics included the Apollonia Private Clinic.

What do you suppose their sales pitch might be: come to Cyprus, have your appendix removed and recuperate in a private room next door to a convicted murderer, rapist and drug baron?
