Further price cut on electricity bills

THE Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) announced on Thursday further price reductions by two per cent for costumers who pay monthly and three per cent for bimonthly consumers, due to reduced fuel costs.
For domestic consumers, electricity prices have gradually been decreased by 20 per cent the last twelve months. Since 2013, prices have gone down by 38 per cent, EAC said.
The utility said that reductions have also been made on commercial and industrial tariffs, as well as on street lighting, water pumping and storage heaters.
