Focus on your wellbeing at the Mind Body and Spirit exhibition

THE MIND BODY & Spirit Festival, Cyprus’ leading wellbeing exhibition, will be held this weekend at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia.

Thousands of people from all walks of life visit the exhibition each year to stimulate their mind, relax their body and awaken their senses. This bi-annual exhibition has become a regular fixture in the cultural event calendar, and is eagerly anticipated in Limassol in the spring and Nicosia in November.

Join the Mind Body & Spirit exhibitors as they introduce the tools necessary for achieving full body wellness. Retail exhibitors will offer everything from natural and holistic health products to spiritual books and enlightened art. There will also be healers who provide treatments ranging from massage and yoga techniques to intuitive readings extending advice to those seeking enlightenment regarding their current life course.

Along with exhibitors, the two-day festival will feature plenty of free lectures including topics on the power of crystals and guided healing meditations. With a full schedule of events to keep you busy on both of the days, we’ll give you the lowdown on some of the most unusual talks and presentations that may be of interest to you. Presentations will start on time, so make sure you are seated five minutes before they begin.

Tomorrow morning the Commissioner for the Environment, Charalambos Theopemptou will be giving a lecture entitled The Environment and Quality of Life. The presentation will bring to light a broad range of environmental issues and an analysis of the problems that lie ahead, EU directives, proposed solutions and how it affects our life and the threats to the environment.

Elina Papa will give a fun and stress relieving Laughter Yoga session including a short talk about EEP (Emotional Energy Pollution). You will practice the purifying technique of Breathwork, and learn how it heals mental, emotional and physical blocks.

Vassilis Kyriacou will be on hand to discuss Australian Bush Flower Remedies, and demonstrating how the healing properties of flower essences were used as an ancient art.

Evi Holroyd will discuss recycling food waste, more specifically vermicomposting, that is using earthworms to turn organic waste into very high quality compost. Holroyd will be giving practical information on how to keep composting worms in Cyprus and the benefits.

If you’re concerned about endangered species make sure you pay Turtle Watch (Linda and David Stokes) a visit. Episkopi Turtle Watch is an entirely voluntary organisation which everybody is welcome to join. They help to conserve loggerhead and green marine turtles on the beaches between Limassol and Paphos.

Weekend admission of €7 includes all lectures and demos as well as admission to the exhibit halls.

The Hilton Park is offering a light lunch buffet featuring fresh salads and a vegetarian dish for only €10, so plan to stay all day. Come rejuvenate, get a massage, explore, and open yourself to new ideas and familiar revelations, or shift your perspective altogether.

If you have never experienced the Mind, Body and Spirit Expo, don’t miss the opportunity this year. Come and see what everyone is talking about.
