Heart patients shouldn’t suffer Third World conditions

Are heart patients across Cyprus to be held to ransom and allowed to suffer and die because of the ‘sour grapes’ of one cardiologist? Is this professional conduct? Does this demonstrate any kind of caring and compassion? I think not!

It is truly horrific that one man can be allowed to do this. Surely there must be more than one person on this island who can perform these procedures. If, not, Cyprus must be a likened to a Third World country with this lack of expertise.

Why do patients from Paphos and its environs have to endure the journey to Nicosia for what should be standard care available across the island?

Very Concerned,
