Law School opens in September

THE UNIVERSITY of Cyprus will open its Law School in September, reports said yesterday.

Initially the School will enroll 30 students from Cyprus and Greece.

Social and Political Sciences Professor Andros Kapardis said the school would be an important contribution to the island.

Meanwhile, the Education Minister said the much-awaited medical school would open in four years time.

Akis Kleanthous said the problems regarding the staffing of the school had been sorted out and that positions would be opened soon.
