Lanate shame

Sir,

On Monday, our dog was poisoned, along with two other dogs on the same quiet street in Paralimni. Within a short block, three dogs and a cat, helpless animals, were attacked.

We were very fortunate, our dog survived the attack effected in our very own yard, described as the worst case seen by our vet.

The point of this letter is not to discuss the cowardice of the type of person using Lanate, but it is addressed to the authorities that don’t enforce a complete ban on the substance.

Shame to Cyprus, its mean-spirited lack of enforcement of any kind of animal rights, and shame to the authorities for their lack of interest.
