Pyla fight

A CLASH between three Greek and two Turkish Cypriots occurred last Saturday at around 9pm at a Pyla parking lot. The cause for the fight was said to be personal differences between the five men and not racially motivated. The three Greek Cypriots were Loucas Argyrou, 26, Andreas Georgiou, 27 and Elenodoro Sotiriou, 25. The two Turkish Cypriots were Sahin, 22 and Suleiman Cokero, 21. Order was restored by an UNFICYP patrol along with Pyla Community Council president Christakis Antoniou and Turkish Cypriot representative Ahmet Sakkali and all differences were quickly worked out. All five men were bruised but refused to go to the hospital.
