Erdogan, Ban discuss ‘importance’ of Cyprob

TURKISH President Tayip Erdogan discussed the importance of resolving the Cyprus problem in a telephone conversation with UN General Secretary Ban Ki-Moon on Friday.

The call was made in light of the World Humanitarian Summit set to take place on May 23 and 24 in Istanbul, according to Turkish Presidential palace sources.

Ban Ki-Moon thanked Erdogan expressing his confidence the summit would serve as a strong message across the world.

The two also discussed the problem in Syria.
