Peyia man injured in fall

A 55-year-old British man living in Peyia was being treated in hospital on Monday for serious head injuries apparently sustained during a fall at home.
His condition was not life-threatening.

Police said he had been found on the floor of his balcony by officers after the incident was reported by a man who was cleaning the 55-year-old’s pool.

The 55-year-old was rushed to Paphos general hospital where doctors decided to transfer him to Nicosia due to the severity of his injuries.

Authorities said they have not found any evidence to suggest foul play.
