Apartment damaged in fire

The fire service said it is investigating the exact cause of the fire that broke out in a Nicosia apartment on Monday afternoon.

The fire services said they had ruled out arson.

The fire that broke out at around 5.50pm destroyed a bedroom in a first floor apartment, of a three-story building in Dasoupolis, while the heat burned the wall paint of the whole apartment”. No injuries were reported.

To contain the fire, three trucks were used.
