State salaries to be paid on Friday

Payment of pensions and government salaries has been moved up to December 18, instead of the 22nd, the State Treasury said on Tuesday.

“Although it was announced that salaries and pensions for December 2015 would be deposited to beneficiaries’ accounts by Tuesday, December 22nd, following a decision by the finance minister, salaries and pensions will be paid to beneficiaries’ bank accounts on Friday, December 18, and will thus be available to beneficiaries during the weekend,” an announcement said.
