A singer who knows how to dream big

For all of you who love a bit of Russian music, the Rialto theatre in Limassol has a treat for you on Sunday when it will be hosting the Russian composer and singer Yuri Loza.

Loza had his sights on studying with the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts back in 1983, but when he failed his entry exams he joined the rock band Zodchiye. The band played many original songs written by Loza and he proved that sometimes talent is all you need to do what you love.

In 1987 he left the band and has been playing solo ever since.

During the concert, which is part of Loza’s international solo tour, he will perform some of his most popular hit songs, including The Raft, Sing My Guitar, I Know How to Dream and lots, lots more.
