Man found dead in the sea

A 68-year-old man was found dead on Thursday in the sea in the Pervolia area near Larnaca.
According to police, the body of Michalis Achilleos, from Nicosia, was found floating in the sea at about 4.40pm. Achilleos was given first aid before being taken to Larnaca General Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
State pathologist Eleni Antoniou said yesterday that an autopsy showed the 68-year-old had died of a heart attack.
Achilleos had a history of heart problems.
