Stormy days ahead

WEATHER conditions are expected to deteriorate today, according to the head of the Metrological Centre Kyriacos Theophilou.

Talking to state radio, Theophilou had stated that weather condition would worsen yesterday although most of Nicosia experienced sunny weather during the day with slight showers.

Theophilou added that today we will see strong winds arrive from the north with rains expected on the low grounds and snow expected on the high grounds and temperatures, that are already lower than last season, lower than yesterday.

He didn’t rule out the possibility of high winds and storms accumulating around the island at night and for the upcoming weekend.
