Shoddy treatment by CY

Sir,
Do any of your readers have a solution to our problem?

We booked a Cyprus Airways flight from Larnaca to Birmingham for November 21.

As Cyprus Airways are no longer flying to Birmingham we have been rebooked
onto a Eurocypria flight from Paphos. We have however got to make our
own way to Paphos and will not be reimbursed for the expense.

We looked at the Conditions of Contract and thought we had grounds for
complaint but it appears that as we were informed in advance there is
nothing we can do.

Is this the normal way for a state-controlled airline to operate?
It is little wonder Cyprus Airways are in financial trouble if they treat fare-paying customers in this way.

Any suggestions?
