Please do something about the litter

Sir,
My wife and I purchased a house in Kato Paphos a year ago — we love the island, the people and of course the weather.

We have recently returned to the UK after a holiday and I have to write, however, and express my sadness at the terrible levels of litter all around the Paphos area – along the A6 and B6 roads and generally all around Paphos, including the harbour area and beaches around the Paphian Bay and Pioneer hotels.

The pavements in addition badly need a clean.

Please, please can you pass my comments on. My wife and I will return to Cyprus, but we have friends and work colleagues who have visited Paphos this year who will not for the reasons above, and this is such a shame
