Shaky landing at Tymbou

The front tyres of a passenger jet burst upon landing at Tymbou airport in the occupied north on Monday forcing its closure for fours hours, reports said.

No one was injured in the incident involving a Pegasus flight from Ankara.

But it forced closure of the airport between 11am and 3.10pm until the necessary repairs were made to the runway.
