Cheap flights are what we need

Sir,
The only action really needed to save tourism is to introduce realistic flight prices, not the silly amounts being charged at present. Why oh why can I fly from the UK to Italy, Spain, France, Geneva, Portugal and a host of other places for minimal amounts and from almost any airport? Yet when I look for a bargain flight for Cyprus, in particular Larnaca, prices are through the roof.

So much for Helios bringing prices down to more realistic amounts. Fine if you want to take the risk attached to the delays with these operators (14 hours delay from Bristol last year).No sir, forget your casinos, theme parks, golf courses, etc find away of getting us out here cheaply first and the rest will just fall into place.
