Propoline Pedi Care Relief Gel
Produced by Greek natural products company Apivita, this gel contains arnica and hippocastanum to refresh, relax and stimulate. The clear gel is cooling, almost numbing, and easily applied but you need to sit down for a couple of minutes afterwards to allow it to absorb. No problem. That and the pungent smell of this product add to the swift relaxing effect. The box even recommends putting you feet up for a few moments. Can’t go wrong.

Est?e Lauder Body Performance Legs
Another sleek product from Est?e Lauder that does what its packaging claims. This will help if you not only have tired feet but ‘heavy’ legs. Apply the white gel using a gentle motion from feet to knees. The gel is quickly absorbed and has a pleasant, subtle smell, giving feet and legs a luxurious, relaxed feeling. The technology behind this product means the hotter your legs are, the cooler the gel will feel. Can also be used over tights and stockings.

L’Occitane Foot Cream
A handy tube for carrying around so your feet can feel at their best even when you are away from home. Choc full of that favourite of L’Occitane ingredients, Shea Butter, this is a luxurious feeling soft cream that rubs in easily. The warming sensation of the cream quickly relaxes the foot although it takes a while to sink in, however by the time it has your feet will feel loose and relaxed. The other essences within the cream – rosemary, lavender and other flower extracts – have a calming smell.

Christy Relaxing and Calming Massage Cream
This rich cream is part of a range of skincare products appointed to HRH Prince Charles. The small, not terribly convenient, sachet promises to leave aching feet feeling soothed and relaxed and it is true to its word. Squeeze some of the cream on to your feet, rub in and within a few minutes they will be feeling smoother than ever. The soft sensation lasts too, and there is a pleasant fruity fragrance. There is about enough in each sachet to do about four feet so find a friend.

Crabtree & Evelyn Revitalising Foot and Leg Therapy Cream
Part of the brand’s La Source range, this non-oily cr?me comes in a convenient, matt tube. As with all Crabtree & Evelyn products, the packaging is great and so is the product. Smoothed on to the feet and legs it made them feel cool and most of all comfortable. For once I was not conscious of my feet because they hurt. Contains peppermint oil, spirulina and algae extracts although the mint smell was a little overwhelming.

Karin Herzog Foot Oil and Foot Cream
A two-stage process that is suitable for men and women. First apply a couple of drops of the oil and massage into the feet. Avocado oil acts to soften rough skin, while other ingredients soothe little cracks. After this apply the cr?me without massaging in. The oxygen within it will revitalise flagging feet and also acts as an antiseptic. Herzog recommends these products be used twice a week to maintain healthy and soft feet and the following day I couldn’t believe how smooth mine were.
