Please let’s have some good news

Sir,
Just a thought – is there any good news in Cyprus at the moment?

As a regular reader of the paper both on the internet and when I’m on holiday there, it all seems a bit gloomy at the moment

Go on, put in a piece of good news which will ensure people like me, who love the Island, continue to miss every day not being there!

Only meant in jest, but it really reads doom and gloom today. Still, you have to report what’s happening and I fully understand, but please, anything, something to cheer me up!!
