Refreshing music reviews

Sir,
In respect of the Pharos Trust Music Festival reports (latest in the Cyprus Mail May 26), how refreshing it was to read truly professional music reviews as written by Saskia Constantinou. A professional musician herself, she obviously has a deep understanding of the requirements of the scores and the moods of the players.

I also applaud Miss Constantinou’s stand against members of audiences who leave before the performers have taken their bows.  This is an unfortunate habit observed in concert halls throughout the world and is to be deplored.
Equally deplorable is the sight of audience members arriving late after the start of performances. Nobody should be allowed into the auditorium until a suitable break occurs.
