Armenians must think of their interests first

Sir,
Fellow Armenians, recognition of the Armenian Genocide yes, but do not let it be used as a blocking tactic by those in the EU who do not want Turkey to join, these are separate issues, give some serious thought to what is best for Armenia.
First and foremost we have no right to interfere in EU matters, as Armenia is not a member.

Those in the EU who do not want Turkey to join are using, as one of the pretexts, the 1915 Armenian Genocide. Why this sudden love for Armenians? Where were they during the last 90 years?

Fellow Armenians, make no mistake, they used us in 1915, with disastrous results and are using us again. Do not let it happen again.

If Turkey is barred from entry into the EU citing 1915 as one of the reasons, how do you think Turkey will react?

Turkey should be allowed to join the EU where they will be under some control; the alternative is a Turkey hopping mad with dire consequences for Armenia.

Turkey did not handle this problem well, they started off with an aggressive attitude but having seen it backfire are now toning down their rhetoric.

And just one other message to Turkey: You keep harping on that it is wrong for Armenia to occupy Azeri lands, but is it wrong? If so, what the hell are you doing in the sovereign state of Cyprus?
