British exporters go on show

SUPERCATEX, the British Products and Services Catalogue Exhibition, will be in Cyprus at the Hilton Park Hotel, in Nicosia, tomorrow for three days.

It will be the first visit to the island for the popular business-to-business exhibition and the 119th worldwide.

SuperCatex has visited 68 cities in 37 countries over the last six years.

Organised in association with the British High Commission and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SuperCatex will feature over 175 British exporters looking to do business in Cyprus. Many will be seeking agents or distributors, whilst others are seeking joint venture opportunities.

Over 3000 products and services from both British companies and UK trade associations will be on display.

Copies of exhibitor catalogues and a special edition of the 2005 British Exporters Directory CD-ROM are available for collection by local businesses, featuring company details on over 19,000 current British exporting companies.

“Virtually every piece of global business transacted will start with a company’s sales literature and two tons of it will be here in Nicosia,” said Kate O’Sullivan, Managing Director of UK Exporters Ltd.

Exhibitors are featured from many sectors of industry including automotive, agriculture, building and construction, education, engineering, electronics, fashion, furniture, foods, healthcare, horticulture, leisure, lighting, medical, packaging, retail and security.

Entrance to the exhibition is by business card, with all catalogues available for free distribution.
