Say Hello to Halloween

The most exciting thing about Halloween – apart from getting dressed-up – must be getting to sneak about and play a few tricks on people.

The herb gardens and maze in Avgorou are perfect for a bit of Halloween fun and although the playing tricks on people part is not officially on the list of fun things planned, you know it is absolutely called for.

So get dressed as a witch, a goblin or whatever you would like to turn into and be at Avgorou at the weekend for some games, challenges and activities. There is no age limit because fun has no limits.

Younger children can help Dr Frankinsect find the magic formula to shrink all the creepy crawlies back to normal size. Clues to the formula are hidden in the Magic Maze so step carefully, you never know what might be lurking around the bend.

Older children and adults can enjoy a bit of CSI fun as they solve some unfortunate murders in the Freaky Forest – but watch out – there may be a giant spider in the bushes after your blood.

The activities do not end there, oh no, there will also be apple bobbing, a broomstick race, I-Spy in the Haunted Herb Garden, a lucky dip and face painting and much more.

Activities will be going on all day from 9.30am until 6pm on both days. You can join Dr Frankinsect’s experiments at 11am, 1pm, or 3pm.

Entrance for both adults and children is €5 and children under three get in free. Together with your entrance fee, you will also get a cup of witch’s brew.
