Anything goes on the booze cruise?

THE ORGANISERS of Ayia Napa’s ‘Fantasy Boat Party’ yesterday denied they were hosting drunken orgies on their cruise ship, despite explicit photographs on their website and a detailed account of sexual acts from one tourist who had been on the boat.

A worker on the boat told the Cyprus Mail yesterday that newspapers from all over the UK had been phoning to inquire about reported acts of debauchery, reported on Mega on Wednesday night. He denounced the reports as pure sensationalism.

“We have been up and running for six years and there is no way we could ever host a party and massive orgies as maintained by certain journalists,” the boat worked said.

Yet one tourist, who did not wish to be named, told the Cyprus Mail how he had been shocked at what he saw on the fantasy boat.

“At first, it’s all good clean fun; but then the water guns come out and people start squirting out vodka. People soon get really drunk, to the point where they will do just about anything.

“The games then begin and three girls and three guys are grouped together. They put whipped cream on the men’s crotches and the women lick it off,” he said.

The source said the most shocking game was when the men pulled down their trousers and the women competed to see who give which men the largest erection.

“I saw girls performing oral sex on men. I couldn’t believe my eyes,” he said.

The worker on the boat, however, insisted that these were lies. “People will write anything to sell papers. We couldn’t have orgies as we would be closed down. And besides,” he said “if we did we would charge people £2,000 not the reasonable fee of £25.”

Asked if such unsavoury acts could have taken place at another boat party, the man said this was impossible as they were the only company in Ayia Napa operating boat parties.

The worker said he was on the cruise every night and he had yet to see any sexual or lurid acts taking place. “It is good clean fun,” he said.

Asked about pictures posted on the company’s website showing topless women having their breasts fondled by men, the worker said that this was the 21st century and women went topless to the beach all the time, so what was the difference?

“We offer people aboard our boat a good time. Ayia Napa is the best place in Europe as a clubbing destination. It is not full of drugs like Ibiza because our police are strong,” maintained the worker.

Tickets for the fantasy boat party are sold out every night and clubbers from the UK are booking flights to Cyprus just to try out the party, the worker said. Next year the fantasy boat party will be included in a tourist package, including flight and accommodation.

The website boasts crew members on board the ship including ‘Father Sleaze’, whose motto is “Get down on your knees to Father Sleaze”, and Popeye the Deckhand, who is seen in one photograph pointing a water gun up a woman’s behind.

The website shows party games, including placing a half melon with whipped cream on men’s crotches for women to lick off. A male stripper is also available for female entertainment and is advertised to “display 100 per cent tanned body”.

The worker said even though British papers were chasing a story about the parties, they were happy with the publicity.

“We run a professional business,” he said. “Anyway tourism is down right now on the island and we are hoping to bring it back up.”

Police spokesman Demetris Demetriou said yesterday he had heard rumours of sex acts on the boat, but that police had not launched any investigations as there had been no complaints.

“We had copious amounts of calls from people in the UK about the fantasy boat, but we have not conducted any investigations,” said Demetriou.

Asked if police had any plans to investigate, Demetriou said they did not.

“If reports are made then we will conduct a full scale investigation,” he said.

“Once the boat travels 12 miles out to sea, it is out of our jurisdiction,” he said, adding that reports that police had raided the boat were false.
