TAKE SEVEN: Outdoor candle holders

Zara
Definitely one of the funkiest of our selection but you can always count on Zara to be stylish. This one comes in black and white and green but light blue has to be one of the coolest colours of the season. You can either hang it up or place it on the ground but something so eye-catching should certainly be placed high enough for people to gaze at it.
Price: £7.90

Habitat
Lanterns are quite popular this year and this is Habitat’s glass version. Modern, sophisticated with a funky twist makes this otherwise plain box a work of art. However, the magic is turned on once you stick a candle inside; it lights up providing you with that wonderful atmosphere I mentioned earlier. Also available in blue and green.

Alpha Mega
This could easily be the cheapest way to add some glamour to your backyard or veranda. Grab a box of twelve and simply stick in flowerpots, grass and soil in general to add a glow to your evenings. The ‘glasses’ can easily be replaced after the candles run out, so this is definitely a fantastic deal.

More Bo
Quite different to the other six, More Bo offers this brilliant way to light up your evenings. Hang this beautiful star pendant, place a tea light inside by opening the small hatch on the side and voila, a perfect bright star. The price may be a tad steep but this is a product that is classic and timeless plus it’s safe if it’s hanging from the ceiling.
Price: £27

Terrano
Well, we are bringing you a range to choose from, so a tripod candle holder seems perfect to round up the selection. On the retro/vintage side of things, leaving funky behind, Terrano’s outdoor candle holder seems it would blend excellently with a beige background, bamboo furniture and a very calm atmosphere. You could even fit two or three tea lights inside or maybe a just one big one.
Price: £33

Marks & Spencers Home
M&S has a beautiful selection of candle holders but I just couldn’t resist the simplicity of one has. Could very well be used indoors as well as outdoors and looks stunning when a tea light is placed inside. Easy to move around and also available in hot pink and clear. Also available in larger size.

Candlelina, Ledra Street (opposite Starbucks)
Packed with a vast variety of candles, candle holders, incense sticks and anything you could possibly think of associated with the candle family. At this price, you could afford to buy a dozen and place them across the patio or around the bar. All you need is tea lights, which will set off a stunning colouring through the mosaic glass bits. Make sure you position them away from a breeze, however, as the base is quite light. Available in other colours.
