Cocktail of the week with Fabroizio Musorella

Golden Dream
Aaah, liqueurs! An essential part of modern mixing, they bring sweetness, colour and flavor to a cocktail. The word liqueur comes from the Latin word Liquefacere, meaning to melt or dissolve. Therefore a liqueur is the result of the liquefying of its ingredients. Fruit, plants, seed, fruit skin or roots are placed in alcohol in a still, heated and the vapours are condensed. When cooled this becomes the aromatic spirit. The other process used to create liqueur is known as maceration and only fruit with pulp are used. Cream liqueurs are a combination of alcohol and dairy cream and Cr?me is a very sweet and thick liqueur. Here’s a classic to try at home. Salute!!
