Nicosia hospital took excellent care of me

Many negative things have been said and written about the new Nicosia hospital. May I add a note of contrast. Three weeks ago I had a bad fall and was taken to the Latsia hospital by a friend.

There I found genuine concern and kindness by the hard working staff on duty. They were thorough and did everything possible to help. I felt such appreciation for the fact that they were there to provide not only service but also reassurance to one whose head had come into sharp contact with a hard road.

I also owe a debt of gratitude to the staff of the Makarios Hopsital in Nicosia that I wanted to acknowledge long before this. But Christmas seems a good time to send them too the best of wishes for the New Year.
