Street to close for football match

TO ENSURE the smooth running of the AEL-APOEL football game taking place today at 7pm at Tsirion Stadium in Limassol, Stelios Kyriakides street will be closed to all vehicles from 5pm until the end of the game, police announced yesterday.

To avoid any confrontation between the two teams’ supporters, Limassol Police has also released directions on where each team’s supporters should park their cars. AEL’s supporters who will watch the game from the east section of the stadium, are asked to use Ayias Fylaxeos street to go to the stadium and park their cars on the east of Tsirion and nearby roads.

APOEL fans coming from Nicosia will watch the game from Tsirion’s west quarter. They have been asked to use the Nicosia-Limassol motorway exit and park their cars on the west of the stadium.

APOEL supporters coming from Limassol, are asked to use Vasileos Constandinou street and park their cars on the west of the stadium.
