If you’ve heard of this shop, you’ve either been shopping in Italy’s high street or you’ve been to The Mall of Cyprus. Although it is known for its low prices, the quality isn’t bad. I found this black, brass buckle patent bag and immediately thought that at such a good value price, it would be perfect for anyone who wants to avoid spending an arm and a leg on this ‘must’ item but needs to shine, no matter what!

Bershka
I’ve been eyeing up the Bershka bag collection for quite some time now. They have a massive range of every colour you could think of, including green, red, black and white. But this white one reminded me of a few designer patent leather bags I’ve seen with its quilted design and brass buckling. It definitely has a vintage theme, which, combined with the patent look and bowling appearance, gives a great, stylish result.

Zara
Zara never ceases to impress and this year’s autumn/winter collection is no different. Although the clothes are to die for, especially the dresses and coats, the bags are equally striking. You can find evening clutch bags and long-handled everyday ones too but most of the shelves are adorned with big, patent ones. Black, white, even duo-chrome but this red one caught my eye because of its original design. If you don’t feel at ease with all the shine that comes with a patent bag, this one is definitely the one for you. Mixing matte leather with patent, the box design is so hot right now, this gorgeous red and white tote is a favourite on our list.

When I spotted this purple patent bag hanging from the rails, I knew it was a winner, firstly because the colour is absolutely gorgeous and in tune with autumn/winter tones and second because of that brass buttoning! Love it!

Oasis at Debenhams
Nothing can bring together an evening outfit like a gorgeous clutch bag. This one, by Oasis at Debenhams, had me talking to myself and holding onto to it like I was holding on to my life! White, patent, with a slit across the top to hold (in some cases, essential because under the arm can be annoying after a while), it will work with almost any colour, any outfit whether it’s jeans and a top or a cocktail dress and is highly stylish!

If you haven’t heard of Emmanuella, don’t worry. Relatively new to the world of handbags in Cyprus, Emmanuella should be on your list of stores to visit. All her bags are handmade and here’s the best part: each one is exclusive, so that means that no-one will be sporting the same bag as you. The one you pick out for yourself will only ever be enjoyed by you and admired by everyone else. This one, named Aphrodite Fritillary (all her bags are named after butterflies) is again, one of a kind, so if you’re interested, you better hurry… before I get there!
