CY receives excellence award

CYPRUS Airways has been awarded the ‘Commitment to Excellence in Europe’ award by the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM).

The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday at the Athens Music Hall.
According to a Cyprus Airways announcement, this is “an important recognition of the serious and systematic efforts made by Cyprus Airways to boost its quality, flight and aviation safety”.

EFQM reached its decision after the national carrier met the foundation’s criteria.

“During this difficult phase Cyprus Airways is facing, this distinction is particularly honouring and encouraging for the company and is a reconfirmation of its decisiveness to further upgrade is quality in all levels,” the airline said.
