Facial washes are a great and quick way to keep your skin in top condition
Facial washes have become an integral part of most people’s face care. Whether you want a change from or are too lazy for the tedium of a daily cleanse and tone routine, or maybe you have oily skin and do not want to use a creamy product to clean your complexion, a facial wash is a quick, easy and effective way to keep skin clean and in good condition. You will not catch many men going for a cleanse and tone routine and a facial wash is their automatic choice.
Even if you are quite disciplined and use cleanser and toner to clean off the day’s grime and even if you have dry skin, a facial wash is still useful and should be a staple on your bathroom shelf. There will be days when you are simply too tired to go through lengthy wiping off of cleanser, or maybe your face is clean but you want to give it a light wash in the shower in hot weather.
If you have very dry skin there are washes that contain emollient, moisturising ingredients for your skin type. There are even facial washes to suit irritated, sensitised and dehydrated skins. Modern wash formulations enable you to remove full make-up, including foundation, but it is best to remove eye-make and lipstick first.
It can get confusing as to which face wash to buy, but luckily you cannot go so wrong with face washes as you can with other face products as long as you do not choose a very drying one if you are dry, or a creamy moisturising wash if you are oily and blemished or spotty.
