A MAN was attacked and beaten while painting a wall outside his restaurant in Limassol on Sunday afternoon by a passer-by who got paint on his clothes.

The 35-year-old man, told police that he had been painting the exterior wall of his restaurant with his wife, when a pedestrian walked past and without realising the paint was wet, touched the wall and got dirty.
