Cocktail of the week with Fabrizio Musorella

The light golden colours of effervescent Champagne cocktails are as popular as ever and we need to try to enjoy them at every opportunity, not just for selected occasions. This can also be possible thanks to the wide selection of Champagnes and sparkling wines now available in Cyprus. Even for recipes where fresh (or frozen) fruit not in season is required, this is not a problem anymore because a variety of fruit is imported from abroad. For this very French cocktail would be a crime not to use real Champagne. Salute!
Ingredients
4 blackberries
1cl Cr?me de M?re (blackberry liqueur)
3cl white rum
½ slice of orange
½ tsp of brown sugar
Champagne
Preparation
Muddle the berries, sugar and the orange in the base of a shaker. Fill with ice and pour the rest of the ingredients over except the Champagne. Shake sharply. Pour directly into a highball glass. Top up with Champagne.
