Fitzgerald wrongly given credit

On February 11, 2007 the Marketplace column of the Sunday Mail carried a piece titled Fitzgerald Estates help raise over 20,000 pounds. It was mentioned that Fitzgerald sponsored a fund-raising evening at the Kamares Club, raising £3,500. It was in fact £3,612!

I am the organiser of the Kamares evenings for St.Michael’s Hospice and have been for 12 years and I deny categorically that Fitzgerald Estates had anything to do with it other than having guests at the evening – like everyone else did.
