It just doesn’t wash any more

I have been many times to Cyprus and I love it. But your problem appears that you no longer offer family holidays at affordable prices.

Your flights are very expensive from the UK ,your bar owners have become very expensive and often overcharge people, you have a crime issue in some resorts and locally you ignore these issues, and quite frankly your long running dispute no longer washes with us Brits. We have gone a long way to see Northern Ireland live in peace, Berlin to bring down the wall, the Soviet Union to crumble, yet the warm friendly Cypriot nature has been lost in bickering with ‘land issues’, greed and fear of losing out to your Turkish or Greek neighbours. I’m afraid until you learn to move on in peace you van only expect to go backwards in wealth through tourism.
