Another example of institutionalised racism?

Sir,

The Nicosia Mayor says considerations like car parking and noise pollution must be taken into consideration when granting a licence for a Buddhist temple in Nicosia (Buddhists left in limbo, Cyprus Mail, December 23).

Most Orthodox churches on the island have no car parking facilities, and make a lot more noise than a Buddhist temple would.

Is this another example of the institutionalised racism which seems to permeate everything in Cyprus?
