Easier visa procedures for Chinese visitors

Cyprus will create 15 authorised centres for processing visa applications in Chinese cities where there are no Cypriot diplomatic missions, President Nicos Anastasiades said in an interview with the Chinese news agency Xinhua, during his official visit to the country.
He added that Cyprus has already chosen a private provider, through a tender call. The centres will start operating after the signing of the EU-China agreement on the exemption from visa requirements of holders of diplomatic passports.
President Anastasiades said that this is a practical measure to make it easier for Chinese tourists and businessmen to visit Cyprus.
