Human skeleton is linked to act of foul-play

THE REMAINS of a human skeleton that were discovered close to Spilia Village on Wednesday have been linked with foul-play.

The Chief of Police, Iacovos Papakostas, stated that forensic examinations have concluded that a crime had taken place and the death was not natural.

He added that the man’s identity would be determined following a series of DNA tests, and that police were currently following leads surrounding the case.

Papakostas added that members of the public may be called for DNA testing to help determine the identity of the victim.
