Man critical after stabbing

A ROMANIAN man was critically injured in the abdominal area following a stabbing last night.

The incident occurred on Michael Koutsofta Street in Latsia. The man was attacked and stabbed with a kitchen knife when he went to another Romanian man’s house to claim the €200 he was owed.

Three more Romanians were present at the time of the attack. A second man was lightly injured on the head when a chair was thrown at him; he received stitches and was later released.
