He is followed by EVROKO deputy chairman Nicos Koutsou, who was born in Famagusta in November 1946, and DIKO spokesman Andreas Angelides, who was born in Larnaca in December 1946.

Up until yesterday, Defence Minister Costas Papacostas – born in Agia Triada Yialousas in 1939 – was Acting House President, substituted by newly-appointed Justice Minister Kypros Chrysostomides, who was born in Kathikas in 1942.
