Reforging old alliances

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY (DIKO) has agreed to join forces with the Fighting Democratic Movement (ADIK), after a meeting which took place yesterday.

The move will see current president of ADIK Dinos Michaelides return to DIKO. The founder of ADIK was a former vice president of the Democratic Party and served as a minister under former presidents Spyros Kyprianou and Glafcos Clerides.

Marios Karoyian, leader of DIKO said: “We welcome the addition of our new allies and hope they will help us actively inspire the middles classes and the new generation leading up to the parliamentary elections.”
