Rocking Thursdays

Thursdays may be student night but the performance at RED music stage in Nicosia this Thursday will prove that music is a great teacher and we are all – whether in school or not – students in this thing called life.

Singer Evridiki will be joined by local band Prospectus for a performance of songs that will definitely rock the night away.

If you know Evridiki from her Eurovision song contest days, then you will know that her whole attitude towards music has changed and she is much more rock and roll than she used to be.

Apart from being a great performer, she is also a philanthropist as she is the representative for the annual campaign launched by the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends which aims to raise funds for cancer patients.

Also on stage will be the band that has been giving Nicosia (especially) much to jump up and down about when it comes to live performances for a while now.

Prospectus – the six-piece band – is known for its electrifying performances, its dedication to rock and its ‘stand up and fight’ attitude on and off stage.

You might want to take Friday off, for these rockers will make sure that no one will remain in their seat for very long.
