TO CELEBRATE its first flight to the new Larnaca airport Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates is offering travellers from Cyprus who log on to the airline’s website www.etihadairways.com/cy or book via any local travel agent today, a return ticket from Larnaca to Abu Dhabi for just €10, plus airport taxes and service fees.
The offer will be available today but only for 24 hours and is valid for travel between December 14, 2009, and January 31, 2010.
Lorna Dalziel, Etihad Airways country manager, Cyprus said: “This is an incredible period for Cyprus and we are extremely proud to be part of this process. Our first flight to the new Larnaca International Airport will depart from Abu Dhabi at 9:15am and arrive in Larnaca at 11:20am today, and we want to celebrate this occasion with all travellers from Cyprus, via this amazing ticket sale offer.
“November is a landmark month for us, as not only we celebrate the new Larnaca Terminal and our five-month presence in the Cyprus market, but also our top award at this year’s World Travel Awards (WTA), being voted the World’s Leading Airline by more than 180,000 travel industry professionals from over 175 countries,” she said.
Etihad is based in the UAE’s capital, Abu Dhabi. Currently, Etihad offers flights to more than 55 destinations in the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and Australia.
