Obama gets my peace prize nomination

Watching the CyBC broadcaster Yiannakis Nicolaou express ridicule at the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to the US President Barack Obama made me sick.

The gentleman in question has a very bad habit of letting his personal feelings, which are typical of a provincial and not well informed person, get in the way of his job of reporting events.

Barack Obama is unique in many ways and the world has a better chance of avoiding conflict, while his support for the reduction of CO2 emissions is also to be commended.

I believe the world is a better place for having Obama as US President and that his rise to be there is a message to the world that America has a president who wants to bring change for the better in the world.

Whether people like Mr Nicolaou like it or not, the actions of the US President impact the lives of every citizen on the planet and what better to reward Obama for his hitherto actions/intentions?

The world has changed with Obama in power and people can board the train of change or stay behind in their little world as little people.
