Patroclos had no right to make light of my family problems

I was saddened to read what was written in the Sunday Mail of July 12, under the pseudonym Patroclos, regarding avoiding military service.
I use no pseudonym though. Openly and with modesty, from the podium of the House of Representatives not only did I present – as I was obliged and it was my duty to do – the position of the Ecologists and Environmentalists Movement (in the way it was decided in 1999), but I also informed the House and the public that I have a problem in my family.
A problem that I would not wish my worst enemy to have.
Yes, such a stance requires both nerves and ethics. It involves cost and pain. But perhaps you are not aware of these things. This is why I wish God will forgive you for your rudeness.
