Virus count at 250

THIRTY-TWO new cases of the H1N1 virus were confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the government-controlled areas to 250.

According to a Health Ministry statement, 23 of the new cases were Cypriots and the rest foreigners.

Health Ministry figures released yesterday morning showed that the state lab had completed the examination of a total of 500 samples, of which 48 were tested on Friday.

The Ministry said in its official statement that 159 of the 250 confirmed cases have already recovered.
