Orams only have themselves to blame for their folly

I have been following the Orams case since the early stages of the court hearings.

Was it not Turkey who illegally invaded and still occupies 36 per cent of Cyprus? Are there not numerous UN resolutions condemning this occupation?

Is there any other country besides Turkey who recognises the ‘TRNC’? Why on earth would anyone in their right mind purchase land from a pseudostate when one knows the history and complications surrounding this troubled island?

If people would use a bit of common sense and small dose of humility this wouldn’t be occurring. If a deal seems too good to be true it’s usually not true. Plain and simple: greed and opportunism have expiration dates. Good luck to all the parties involved.
