What if the shoe were on the other foot?

Turkey and Cyprus can only end the troubles between the two when Turkey acknowledges the wrong of taking Cypriot property after the Illegal invasion in 1974.

Compensation and/or the return of property is the only answer before anything else takes place.

I’m sure if the shoe was on the other foot and Greece/Cyprus invaded Turkey and annexed part of their territory, Turkey would settle for nothing less than what the Greek Cypriots are requesting.

Turkey’s only hope in this matter is that over time people will get discouraged and forget what happened and give in to what they want.

Do not let that happen – fight for your rights and demand a return of property or fair “compensation” based on today’s current property values.

Anything else is wrong and unacceptable. Nazi Germany and Japan had to pay for their invasions – so did Eastern Europe – so why should Turkey go free? Tell Turkey to take a walk.
