Wireless hotspots found via Google Maps

CYTA is now making it even easier for customers to locate its Wi-Fi Hotspots via Google Maps, it announced yesterday.

Over 100 of its hotspots can be found by accessing www.cytanet.com.cy/Services/connectivity/basic/wireless/GoogleMaps/

By clicking on the location of the hotspot a window of information is opened. It provides information such as address, telephone and website.

Cytanet customers can log onto the Wi-Fi Hotspots for free using their access codes that they use at home to access wireless. However, first time users of Hotspot must activate the codes by calling CyTA’s call centre on 132 or 80008080.

Anyone else can buy a card with the necessary codes on them from the Hotspot website or via SMS if they are a Cytanet-Vodaphone subscribers. They can also be found from all Cytashops.
